ITB is one of the biggest tourism and travel industry promotion event organized every year in the month of March in Berlin, Germany. It is in recognition of this fact that the Ethiopian Embassy in Berlin is doing its level best coordinating with stake holders such as the Ethiopian Tourism Ministry, the Ethiopian Airlines and Ethiopian Tour Operators Associations to Promote Ethiopia’s huge tourism potential in German market. The Ethiopian Airlines daily flight to the German city of Frankfurt has played significant role in bringing Ethiopia to Germany and proved an airline of choice for German travellers, but the gap in terms of unleashing Ethiopia’s huge tourism potential in German market is still there.
