- A document originated in Germany, Berlin, that will be expected to go to Ethiopia should be legalized by MOFA, the Ministry of Justice, the courts (Landgerch), the Chamber of Industry and Chamber of Commerce, and other authorized institutions.
- A document originated in German regions that will be expected to go to Ethiopia must be signed and stamped by the regional council; for school matters, the office of science, research, and art; the courts (Landgerch); the chamber of commerce; and another authorized body.
- A document originated in Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Lichtenstein must be legalized by their ministry of foreign affairs.
To all document senders and those present in person
- You will send an authenticated document that must be original.
- You have to write a letter about it, including how many documents and what do you want from the Embassy and any other expressions about it.
- You send by post, DHL, and other mail.
- Payment of the service fee should be by bank transfer, and the receipt should be sent with the document. Don’t send money by post (only bank transfers).

- If you have an Ethiopian passport or origin ID, instead of 93.10, you pay 60.76, and instead of 88.20, you pay 57.82.
