Seven-member Ethiopian delegation of renoun companies drawn from the Ethiopian Horticulture Association led by its President, Ato Nega Mekuwanint ,is taking part in this one of biggest international fruit fare.
The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Berlin is teaming up with Ethiopian Horticulture Association and host country’s relevant governmental and non governmental bodies as well as third party partners such as Netherland’s horticulture support initiative to make sure that Ethiopian horticumture exporters partake.
Showcased in this year’s edition of the Fare are Ethiopian horticulture exports such as cutflowers, herbs, fruits such as avocados, strawberries grape fruits etc…
Though much remains to be done before the Ethiopian horticulture export makes significant inroads in German market with their unmuched distinct qualities and assert its place there due mainly to logistical problems, the event is proving more and more helpful for networking with importers of participating countries and those willing to invest in the potentially huge but untapped Ethiopia’s horticulture sector.
