The visit was aimed at gaining experiences and introducing the new Ambassador to the workings of the African group.
Discussions mainly focused on the need to work together, as African Group, with a view to achieving common African objectives. The need to collaborate and speak with one voice on matters relating to Africa was stressed. The historic bilateral partnership between Ethiopia and Rwanda will serve as a solid foundation for robust cooperation.
